Twisted Kilt Now Open

hi Everybody Deep Pint here with some more insider info. Twisted Kilt (on the site of the former Bow & Arrow(which it should no longer be referred to as), Yonge & Davisville) had a soft opening last nite. In Restaurant speak a soft opening is to just open the doors and see if everything is w...

Black Oak Summer Saison now Available

Just in time for summer (how odd for us timing-wise) We've kegged up and bottled up our Summer Saison for 2009. This years edition seems a touch more smokey. We did win the Gold and Peoples Choice awards at the Ontario Brewing Awards in the early spring. Some kegs have been shipped out to some of ou...

Best Grand Opening Ever

I just want to thank everybody from the Bartowel for turning out last Saturday night and making our Grand Opening a big success. It was great to see everyone. When you consider we've been around for almost 10 years and never had a grand opening yet, it was about time. I would have posted my thanks s...

Fresh Black Oak Beer

Hi Guys We try to watch our stock in the Beer Store and LCBO. Fortunately for the last month or two our stock in most stores has been run down and we've shipped very fresh beer. Our big problem is we still keep on running out of beer while we're working on the new brewery. We are only in the GTA for...

Special Casks for Golden Taps

Thinking about bringing some special casks to the show.

Cask Conditioned Toronto Tap Water
Cask Conditioned Carbon Filtered Water
Cask Conditioned Reverse Osmosis Water.

Can't wait for the reviews on RateWater.

Or perhaps we should concoct a special cask ale for the awards.

My 2 cents on the Beer Festival

It was really great to see a bunch of you at the beer festival. In my opinion, for us small breweries its critical for us to have a presence at the beer festival. It's grown tremendously in the past 8 years that we've been attending. The problem is trying to get our message out to people while the m...

I can remember when people got excited over the local craft beer.
But i guess the allure of american beer kinda takes over.

I'll look into the line situation at the Bow & Arrow.
Very sorry about that.
Please note it was a cask of pale ale with no additional hops.
The hop crisis has curtailed our hop bomb edition until more hops become available or we increase the hop bomb price by 400%.

Cheers
