I learned my lesson by buying Craft Beer on sale from the Beer Store. It was on sale for a reason and I tasted that reason on the first sip.

I kegged my clone and am now using Gelatin for a few days. My clone had surprising bitterness. The citrus hop taste is light, but I guess this is the style. I'll update more after it is carbed up aged a bit.

I plan on getting a dozen or so cases of beer ahead for the summer. I don't brew much in the summer. I couldn't fathom getting that much beer ahead. Quite impressive.

I made a similar brew yesterday. I used Amarillo and Centennial because I have 2 lbs. each of these hops and no Cascade. Other than that, it too is bubbling happily away. The wort had lots of hop aroma,

Double brewday on the weelend. I am brewing a lager from a stepped up smack pack of Wyeast Urquell. Never used this yeast before. The other one is my standard Blonde Ale. I am using up all my older 2 row and specialty grains. It is that time of year to use up all my old inventory of malt. Nothing is...

Noticed workers working on the outside of a building next to the Post Office in Millbrook. This may be the future home of this Brew Pub. I'll check it out soon.
