I provided specific reasons why I didn't like it, and explained the frame of reference I was working from. You "quite enjoyed it" so my opinion is invalid? Nice one-uppery? No, and no. I just said I enjoyed it. Don't read any more into it. My enjoying it doesn't invalidate your opi...

Having a Phillips Cabin Fever Imperial Black IPA tonight.....quite enjoying it. Cabin Fever.....are straight up awful. Really? I was hoping to try this one. What's so bad about it? I just found it to be very mediocre and not nearly as hoppy and robust as I expect a "double" Black IPA to be...

Archibald La Joufflue Belgian Style White Ale

Not a style I consistently like. This one was interesting. Had a lemon flavour coming through.

There's that whole stupid SKU issue that has been discussed elsewhere, but as for physical capacity, I won't argue your point generally, but I know that my local could squeeze more in if they wanted to.

Honestly, most of the stuff that is shared is just nice local stuff. Grab some Bellwoods, nicklebrook immodest or malevolent, or some Great Lakes robohop/karma citra and people will be stoked. I just don't want to show up with a handful of half-rate Ontario beer and be embarrassed when some guy pou...

What's nice about Twin Pines, is it's not just Lone Pine x2, totally different hop bill. Really? Then why call it Twin Pines? I believe it's a reference to Back to the Future. Lots of references on the can to those films. From Canadian Beer News Sitting at 8.8% abv, Twin Pines is a bigger sibling t...

Re: Sawdust City Twin Pines

Hides the 8.8 really well, could drink gallons of this stuff. Well hidden, perhaps, but there nonetheless. After "gallons", I'd wager you'd completely forget how good it was. :D Seriously though, I love the Lone Pine and look forward to trying this. Having said that, the last couple of Lo...

I just noticed they've got a "search all stores" option now. About time. Does that bring the new LCBO.com in line functionally with what we had with the old site at http://foodanddrink.ca/lcbo-ear/jsp/ProductSearchNonVintages.jsp?language=EN ? I mean obviously it would be better if we got...

Price $ 5.25
$5.25 for a tall boy?! :o
I had the same reaction, but it's actually cheaper per unit than the previous large bottle.

$5.25 for 473 mL = 1.110 cents/mL
$7.95 for 650 mL = 1.223 cents/mL
