Everyone has friends or relatives that will drink bad beer or any beer that appears infront of them. Use the case as a Christmas present.

Everything gets returned, though I have some Beau's ceramic bottles that my GTA Beer Store won't accept!

I've never been too high on Barley Days offerings but I'll give this one a try. As for the ratings on Beeradvocate etc. I never take them too as gospel - Church Key has some downright dreadful ratings on BA.

Great Lakes Elliot Ness
Otter Creek Stove Pipe Porter
DFH 90 Minute
Rogue Shakespeare Stout

As an aside, when I came back from Premier, The Canadian Customs guy looked at my receipt, shook his head, and said "You probably paid enough" :D

Out of the 4 I tried this October (Grand River, Great Lakes, Post Road and St Ambroise) This was my favorite, with Great Lakes a close second.

This stuff is fantastic. I'd be willing to twist arms personally to have the LCBO bring this in on a regular basis. Until then here's hoping everyone I know gets me at least 1 St Peters gift pack.

Picked up a few in Aurora. Definitely the hoppiest of the bunch I've had this fall (Had Great Lakes, St Ambroise and Grand River) I think all 4 have been "on" this year. It wouldn't take much effort to down 6 of these.

I noticed the same thing at the Bow the couple of times I was there over the past month and agree completely with your post. It is quite sad really, this used to be my regular pub for my first 5+years on Toronto... Same when I lived at Yonge and Eglington a few years back - the place went downhill.
