Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

I would think it is a bit early for Sapporo to start making changes like this. Has this takeover even been officially completed yet, have the shareholders accepted the offer? I am sure it will go through but I would imagine the change of power takes a bit longer to change hands.

What were the bottling dates on the vinegar ones and the exploding ones? . Maybe we can avoid purchasing these if possible.

I think the Creemore is a great idea, but the Tankhouse may have a little too much "flavour" for the Molbatt crowd. If you want to stick with Molbatt styles maybe the Mill St. Stock ale would be a better choice. Most of my Molbatt drinking friends shake and shiver at the taste of Tankhouse...

Just can't get enough of that Polish stuff...FYI, the LCBO rejected both Dead Guy Ale (in 355ml) and Dogfish Head 60 MInute as General Listings this past week. We've demanded a more detailed explanation of their one line rejection but if something of sustance is not forthcoming, I may call on barto...

That's too bad, I wonder if they feel it would be a small order so they don't want to bother.

WOW, this is what happens when a brewery is not for sale? At least I seem to recall that is what John Sleeman said back in May. I think the prospect of Unibroue not being changed will all depend on the bottom line profit margin.

How are you out of towners handling your pick ups? is the LCBO forwarding your orders or are you planning a trip to Toronto to pick up yourselves? I drove in from Whitby on Tuesday morning then back home and then back to Toronto for work because I didn't want to leave it in my HOT trunk all day.(I s...

Did anyone pick up yet? I am going to head down today. I agree the order would have been bigger had I known that the price was going to drop so much, guess better that then a huge increase after it was ordered and landed.

Could someone post a review of the Portland Ale House...I don't recall much activity on these forums about that establishment. I was a big fan of Rotterdams and their 300+ beers way back when. I was at The Portland ale house on Wednesday and I think it would be unfair to currently rate this establi...

I also got a call and was told they will mail me the invoice and once I receive it I can pick up my order, when I requested it be forwarded to my store of choice I was told it could take up to 1 month for the transfer, needless to say I will pick it up downtown. Just a suggestion to anyone to pick i...
