Southern Teir Bourbon Barrel Backburner Barley Wine- Had this yesterday at coles. It weighed in at 14.4% and was one of the best beers I have had from them. very nice looking recipe there. My only suggestion would be to up your yeast pitching rate. May add an extra half pack or so next time.

No clue why the black creek ones are fine. All are run through the same brewing and packaging lines. Personally I know Trafalgar has their problems, but the brands I have had the last year have been pretty good. I think they just had a really rough time with qc a few years ago, and are still feeling...

I can guarantee you that all black creek beers are made at trafalgar by the same people making all trafalgar brands.

From my understanding Black Creek used to be produced by a different brewery. Now things have shifted to Trafalgar producing Black Creek, and there own brands.

I $25 would be worth it for this 4 pack. keep in mind beaus format size, and the time to produce these complex brews. That would be well worth it.
