The Beau's this year has a little malt lip at the finish that is hard to get past. It's sort of like running into a wall. It's funny, I had a Beau's on tap tonight and it was really hop-focused, very little malt to be found. Blindfolded I would have said Creemore. Wonder if they messed up the taps...

FYI, Beyond the Pale in Ottawa is facing the same(ish) issue. They're about to open their new brewery at City Centre (bigger, parking) and would have to close their first spot right in the heart of Hintonburg.

I would line up for world class, best in style beers if they were produced in Ontario. It's silly that if world class beers were being produced in our own backyard we would be annoyed by the inconvenience of taking a drive and lining up for them. I would do it gladly, if you aren't willing to do so...
