That's fine, but if it's considered a contaminant in beer, or any other product, then should it not also be considered a contaminant by itself (i.e. fresh cherries)?Andicus wrote:Not to be a wise-ass, but cherry pits do contain trace amounts of cyanide.

That's listed as Beanmedic's own webpage. No Unibroue info.the.brewer wrote:Beanmedic,
Your post of 10:14 today contained a link at the bottom which turned out to be loaded with adware/spyware. Did you mean to send it, and if so, what were the contents about? I don't want to open it up again!

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Sleeman's bought them - them promptly move the brewing of Unibroue brands to the Maritimes like they did with Upper Canada. Really, Upper Canada is brewed here in the Maritimes now? I find that odd considering it's not available here. Wouldn't it make more sense to...

The first time I dropped off some outsiders, I noticed that the staff person at the recycling place was really looking over a few o...

I just may make an offer of the Grand Cru to our customer base and see what sort of response I get in order to judge whether we should bring some in. FYI, we represent Rodenbach in all Canadian provinces with the exception of Quebec. I'd definitely grab a case if it was available here in NS - as wo...

Greg hit on all the good places here in NS. As far as the beers to try goes, Shippey's Left Coast Stout and Left Coast IPA are very good, as are Rogue's Roost's Pale Ale, Propeller Porter and Pale Ale (as well as the ESB), Garrison Brown Ale, and Paddy's Raven Ale. There's also a new Brewery/Brewpub...
