Re: Amsterdam Brewery

When I left around 4ish, they had about 20 cases left at the QQ location. They're expecting to run out tomorrow. According to one of the guys in the retail store, the reason why there are literally triple the amount of bottles this year was that they felt bad that they were forced to drop the ABV fr...

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

Same here. Although I saw the inventory on the employee's computer screen showed 0 despite the website showing they had it. I've had this experience before. I think TBS website inventory is often out of sync with reality when it comes to new listings. From my understanding (as experienced when Deli...

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

I find even if it gets listed on their site, it's another one, maybe two weeks to show up. Nothing on the radar in Toronto yet, either.

I had it at on tap at Craft Brasserie earlier this week. Surprisingly yummy. Thin texture, refreshingly tart, pumpkin spices not overwhelming like most of pumpkin brews. Strongest spice was clove. Worth a drink if one sees it.

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

Peensteen reported this in the Coming Soon thread early this year, but I don't recall ever seeing announcement of its arrival; not sure how long it has actually been available. NEUSTADT 456 MARZEN LAGER LCBO 415059 | 473 mL can Price: $ 2.85 Found it at Summerhill last weekend (Saturday), doubt it ...

I've heard both late 2015, and early 2016... Who knows. Good ole Ontario laws.

Lansdowne Brewery

These guys quietly released their first beer on tap this weekend. It went under the radar as it was brewed off-site: Understandable due to the red-tape they've been dealing with since open. It's an ESB dubbed Lord Chumley, very enjoyable, safe starting brew. They also have a few collabs that were do...

I'll jump onto the pretty good band wagon. Not amazing, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I only grab 2 of each release for myself, but am willing to grab more. I usually go at lunch, so can grab a full allotment without issue.

Lately seems that they're really trying to push 100th Meridian (along with Organic). Marketing for Tankhouse and others seem stagnant, from what I've seen.

Re: Blood Brothers Brewing

Pit stop here after work today to grab all 4. Shumei IPA (which I got the last bottle of) was very yummy. Out of the fridge, nothing exciting, but once sitting in the glass for a bit the floral and citrus notes came right out and was very tasty. Inner IPA was average at best: the subtle taste was am...

Re: Burdock Brewing

Reviews are definitely polarizing. I loved the West Coast Pilsner, but everything else has been average at best. Big tip though, stay away from Bloor Lite, it's atrocious.

For their 3rd Anniversary, releasing an Old Flanders Brown this Friday at 5PM, as a launch of a new series. Limited release of 500 bottles, with fancy bottle.

I'll probably grab a pair.

For the growlers, most likely. A few of those were stated to be coming up.
