How about a kolsch that tastes like boiled cabbage and corn? Look, if they are making bad beer, by all means, have at 'em. My impression was that the OP thought the beers were OK but somehow dishonest, in that they were stylistically different from the name on the label. They don't. That's a bullsh...

I think I can see what might be called vegetal, but I usually think of it as more musky (not quite catty) or as just dank. That might be the wrong phrase for it, but there was the same dank-ness (maybe Chinook or Simcoe? fresh Simcoe smells like that that to me) that was in Lagunitas Sucks. Dank pi...

No beer is worth entering a lottery, paying 30 dollars for a ticket, travelling almost a thousand kilometers, waiting in line to get in a pub, then waiting in line again to get the beer, and scratching another lottery ticket to see if I get the barrel-aged variant. Unless I hear reports that this ye...

I wonder if that lacto-soured pumpkin beer could have been reduced and added to a pumpkin cheesecake... hmm... I aged a couple from last year, too...But my Shipyard was a little muddled... I could see that, and as I recall the St. Amby aged VERY weirdly for me, even in the fridge, going very 'soft'....

I don't care how good it is, I wont pay for sexy packaging on a new breweries product. More for the rest of you. Cheaper than GLB RIS, which has relatively mediocre packaging. So I'm not sure what you're getting at. Didn't pick that up either. I'm sort of burnt out on good but not exceptiona...

Yeah, I found it messy and I love a good malt bomb, but this wasn't great. At least fresh...One would hope that age would straighten it out, but I'm thinking it would take A LOT of age... I don't know man - even if the flavours manage to knit together a little tighter, I don't think aging would do ...
