And for those who don't find beer semantics silly, Tankhouse is classified as an APA on both RB and BA, it meets the BJCP style guidelines for an APA and there is no recognized beer category called 'Ontario pale ale'. Oh for goodness sakes, forgive me, but that is just silly semantics. If we are discussing favourite hop-forward pale ales or India pale ales available in Ontario, surely Tankhouse qualifies, and in fact deserves some respect (though it's not my personal favourite) for being one of Ontario's pioneer...

Drinking Made Easy: Season 2
Premieres first week of October on HDNet. Apparently they travel to 4 Canadian cities as part of their tour this time round...Montreal, Quebec, Toronto and Vancouver. I'm interested to see which bars, breweries or distilleries they visit in Toronto and Montreal in particular. Anybody hear anything?

Sounds like you needed to extend your trip for 'personal days' CD! Beers at Brutopia are... kinda Brutal Topia. Lived and learned! Benelux has a fighting chance for very good tap beers, and so does Cheval Blanc on a good day. Same St. Bock. All strolling distance downtown, really I can't understand...
