This beer is amazing. I highly suggest people pick this one up. Definitely my favourite of the 'Dominus Vobiscum' lineup.

Rochefort 8, thanks to notdan. Thanks Dan! Man, am I ever growing a love for Belgian stuff as I get slightly older. Especially the Trappists. Glad the package arrived safely! I just cracked a Simple Malt Double Porter. I wouldn't drink them all the time still, but I am gradually coming around to sm...

Talking with an Unibroue rep at a dinner in Ottawa last summer, he DID say they planned on bringing the 17 back under some monicker. Perhaps '17'?

I have a Hibernus from 2009, hope that's a different story? I've never been lucky enough to try the Hibernus, but I imagine a BSDA would age much better than a Belgian IPA. I still like the Lupulus, it's still got some floral and citrusy hop flavour in finish, but it is quite sweet now, kinda syrupy.

I still like it (had a bottle last week), but I know what you mean, and it's far from what it was six months ago. Surprised this is still on the shelves.

Wow. I can't believe how fast this brewery is growing, and all the power to them. Hopefully they can charge a bit less for their bottles if the volume goes up/they put in a bottling line. At this point it's about the same cost (maybe even cheaper) to have the beers on tap at the brewpub.

Awesome! I'm in Montreal until Labour Day weekend but will be sure to grab a 6-pack or two for the holiday.

Le Bilboquet - MacKroken Flower

A slightly thinner and sweeter tweak on a classic scotch ale. Hid the alcohol quite well. Nice touch of dark fruit and honey. Really tasty.

Based on the hop-profile, shouldn't it be 'Red Race American India Pale Ale'?
