Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

I picked up both the Burton and the Samuel Smith from Queen's Quay store this morning...no sign of anything else from the release.
Also Hebrew Genesis. Not sure if that's a limited release or a recent full time addition.

Oh boy oh boy oh boy!!!! I got all excited when I saw that email in my inbox. Sadly I am too broke to buy a case for myself. If any one is buying cases of the following, please let me know I will happily take a few bottles off your hands: 90Minute, 120 Min, Old School Barleywine Alternatively, Peter...

Phone number is 905-339-1037 at the brewery. You should be able to get some most days 11-6. Not sure how much is left in the fridge though - it's a hot commodity.

Went down for the official opening for the new room. Was a fun night, good food, good conversation. Tried a couple new beers (for me at least) C'est What's chocolate ale, and Neustadts 10W40, and Durham ESB. Played some pool (thanks to the bartender - never hurts to ask!) Thanks to Dan-D-Man for the...

What hours is Smokeless Joe's open on weekends? I am pondering spending Saturday afternoon there for a bit of mid-studying beer enjoyment.

Anyone want to join me? I may not be very entertaining with my nose in a book, but I am willing to split a beer or two.

I had a small taste of the cheese fondue and I thought it was delicious. Perhaps my palate is not as refined as the reviewer's.

I enjoyed myself. Saw Josh and Jesse there as well. There was some decent food, and lots of interesting people there. Beerwise the highlights for me were Terrible and Alley Kat Full Moon Pale Ale. Also tried a couple locals I haven't had or haven't had recently. There wasn't much there that isn't no...

Has anyone had this yet? Had a bottle at the Beer Bistro last night and enjoyed it. After reading the reviews at Ratebeer I am wondering if mine was infected. I got a fairly strong sour/tart flavour in it. Is this normal for this beer or should I give it another go?
