that's about right. i travel quite bit to the US and routinely bring back at least the equivalent of a 24 if not more. i haven't had to pay taxes on anything yet (knock on wood). the only response i've gotten is amazement that i can fit so much beer in my luggage without breaking. make sure you pack...

i second the disgusting aroma on the mill street stout. once you got past that it actually tasted okay. as for the hockley stout, they probably brewed it with ancho or chipotle peppers which combined with the chocolate notes of the stout make it taste kind like a mole sauce... hence hole mole. perso...

Repitching Yeast
I've got a stout in my primary fermenter which I will be racking to secondary in a week and want to repitch a porter onto the yeast cake but am concerned about the excessive amount of trub in the carboy. Should I wash the yeast or at very least filter out some of the trub before repitching?

I was in QC just over a year ago and if you are looking for bottles you need to go to Dépanneur La Duchesse D'Aiguillon . From what I remember the owners bought the place a few months prior and one of them knew/was related to someone at Hopfenstark. Needless to say, I stocked up. Definitely better t...

If you see trafalgar west coast ale on the shelf at the LCBO, just keep moving. Do not be seduced by the claims of “dry-hopped” and “unfiltered” on the bottle. There is no way that this beer is unfiltered…way too clear. Not sure what kind of hops I was supposed to detect either? Instead of left coa...

for all those who think that the Rouge Yellow Snow IPA is hoppy you should try a Surly Furious, that is all, bye bye I recently passed through Minneapolis and got some Surly Furious...it's a great beer. However, while potent and grapefruity it's not the hoppiest I've had...there are some Cali IPA's...
