Popular because Smirnoff is marketing the hell out of it, at least if the myriad of subway ads are any indication. Sheep that can't think for themselves.

Have been "fortunate" to have sampled beer from several conetop and flattop beer cans...Black Horse, Dow, something American IIRC canned years before I was born.

Why? Because they were there and it seemed like a good idea at the time.

The best I can say is that I survived the experience.

I've had the Crazy Canuck on tap and in Project X bottles several times, but the canned version outstrips both. To me, it has a sharper hop edge and a more citrusy bite. This is absolutely the beer of the summer.

Got the last cans at the brewery last weekend and pretty much agree with most of the comments. Got a little bit of cedar and no blueberry. It was okay as it was, but would have been a winner with even minimal carbonation.

There's at least one review on BA from someone who didn't have it at Taps, so I'm agreeing with phirleh on chalking it up to bad info.

According to this site, they're brewed at AB's plant in Baldwinsville, near Syracuse. I believe the Canadian Rolling Rock is brewed there as well.

I heard once it was the unions that shut down the provincial borders. I was at the beer store last night sniffin' around for a cheap hot weather beer---nearly broke my back picking up a chest of 28 Brava for $34. I suspected it was made in Canada - but the box said something like the "Brava br...

38 Birthday Cake and Netherworld this afternoon at the Brewery Market at Wychwood Barns. Good turnout of folks this afternoon. Unfortunately the Birthday Cake and Bubble Scream one-offs and the SmashBomb went fast.

Wear 'em down one small transaction at a time.
I know it's not the point, but I think that private orders are a minimum of one case.
