Help Please - Enviro Friendly Brewing

I am starting to gather some research for a paper on environmentally friendly brewing practices. Can anyone provide some suggestions for items, websites, books, articles etc.? Any help would be appreciated. Some of the things i want to mention so far: - It is fairly common practice for spent grain t...

Is there a good (preferable free!) spot to park near Castro's?

I have been playing v-ball at Ashbridge's bay every thursday and am hoping to convince my team to check it out. (Team discount?!? hehe... doesn't hurt to ask right?)

All the marketing talk in the St. Lawrence market thread got me thinking. The general concensus seemed to be a dislike towards breweries whose primary goal is to market what some perceive as mediocre beer. As a collector, as well as a beer enthusiast it reminded me how much I appreciate good marketi...

The water was a great idea.. I only wish i had been smart enough to drink it. (My head was not liking me this morning.) The Wunder Weisse was decent, and comparable to most German brews I have tried, but I agree that the Denison's is superior. I find Denison's leans (slightly) more towards a bananay...

My girlfriend just came back from Belgium with a bottle of Cantillon Geuze and a bottle of 'Mad Bitch', a tripel, from The Mad Brewers. Another friend stopped in Quebec and returned with 1837, Ephemere, and Coup de Grisou. Haven't cracked any of them open yet, but I am looking forward to them. Mostl...

Not to totally repeat other peoples comments but here goes: - Try the St. Lawrence show, come for the beer, stay for the free jello and chocolate at the Campbellford booth... Mmmmm... Fort York: - ditto on the fresh water... We need to hydrate ourselves, and rinse our glasses! - more covered seating...

I enjoy the Harp. Their beer selection is pretty mainstream but I like the pub. Old Credit is decent. Personally I prefer some of the offerings from Robinsons (on Cawthra Rd.) but I have not seen them on tap anywhere. Black Oak over in Oakville is excellent as well. A "C'est What" style pu...

I had the sparkling ale while visiting the distillery district for Doors Open Toronto yesterday. It was a tasty if unremarkable beer. I was hoping to try the pale but they were sold out. (Which bodes well I think!)
