$4 imperial pints tonight at the Stowaway, and that includes RPA. They also made their pinball machine free-play the other day, if you're looking for some nostalgic fun. I've only tried a couple menu items but the food is very solid. There's another new resto on James called WORK that looks very pro...

Pretty sure that picture is a joke and the guy already had BA4D. As much as I'd love that not to be the case..! Sadly only regular 4D now in at Dundurn along with the Hopwired, Cervesia, Chaman, Unibroue 17, BIA, Panil and Jaipur. That 4D is best before 2017/01/01. They also had Moinette Brune and ...

Not quite "product placement" but there's a scene in Cosmopolis when the main character is eating in a diner and you can make out taps from Mill Street, King, Creemore, etc.

Evil Twin aun Mas a Jesus, while watching Big Lebowski. Haven't had the newer Spanish-brewed batch but the original Even More Jesus is easily in my top 5 for Impy Stouts. Loved that one. I normally hate sweet beers but that one did something for me. Deserves more attention IMO. Currently drinking a...

A couple of others beer I have sampled recently are Diamond Knot IPA, Hercules DIPA, and BACCHAUS (sp), the latter thanks to Cale and Mel. Also, I revisited the Cayenne Stout last night. Nice effort, just have a half pint. Was at taps the other day and we had the Black IPA. Wonderful effort from th...

Cameron's The Obsidian

Came across this RPA press release (or whatever it is) and noticed the little blurb at the bottom. I'm guessing an Imperial Stout. Aged in rum barrels? Could be interesting..

They've recently added two 60-in-1 table top arcade machines. I was really hoping they'd bring in some table top machines as they're perfect in a bar setting. Had a blast with some Xevious and 2-player Tetris. The beer list still isn't anything crazy, but being able to sit in extremely comfortable l...

This will probably be the best beer event Hamilton has seen. We rarely see one-offs in this town so it should be a breath of fresh air. Bring back Mickey Mcguire's! As tasty as Quality Cheese Works were.. ever since Brews N Bands last year I believe that every single beer fest should be done with si...

I warned about the 5pm opening in the other thread! But yeah it's pretty stupid to open at anything later than noon-3 on St Paddy's.

They've gone back to a lighter malt profile and changed up the hop varieties. Lower IBUs. It's not a poorly made beer or anything, but there's something about it that rubs me the wrong way - maybe it's the Pilgrim hops.

Stopped by with Streets and Electroluminescent hoping for a quick pint of RPA, but they were out. Grabbed a Naughty Neighbour instead which I can't complain about. They currently have a Fish Friday deal of a sizeable order of Fish & Chip and a pint for $15 - which most of us took advantage of! D...

Turns out the Stowaway doesn't open until 5pm, despite what their website says.
