Whole hops - I usually subdivide a 1lb bag into 1 or 2 oz vacuum sealed bags kept in a deep freeze.
Pellet hops - usually in the plastic snap loc boxes for lunches (I take the sticker off the hop bag I bought them in and put it on the box, so I know my AA% and type) also in the deep freeze

I didn't even try but I am fascinated by the reaction to events like this, especially online comments where humanity's true colours shine brightest https://www.facebook.com/ThreeFloydsBrewpub/posts/10151477537725053 I always think about Louis CK at times like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KpU...

Kidding aside, a quick google search for "westvleteren gusher" brings up quite a few results (this could also be due to the greater recent availability, not just a symptom of infection). But I do wonder if they cut any corners to get this large recent batch to market.

Definitely trying. I've never been, and I've never tried Dark Lord, so it seems like a no brainer. I might just try to go also. For the happening, though I am disappointed that I could never make it out when it was epic, as described above. Whats the link to purchase tickets? http://darklordday.tic...

That being said, tickets are still worth getting just to trade them later for nice beers. :) From the sound of it, the person who bought the ticket(s) has to be there at entry with ID, to prevent ticket reselling. I've tried DL and have a bottle at home, and was curious about maybe going, but not s...

I brought back about 12 or so bottles in my luggage, coming from Newark to Toronto, quite a few bombers. I brought down a foam wine shipper that I had modified to fit in my luggage. I was at 69 lbs and Porter waived the overage charge (thank you Porter). Coming back from Chicago last year going to B...

I was there too, a packed house. They had a good Amsterdam tap takeover with their 100th beer on tap a little while back. Good place, and the beer was fine too. The dry hopped one was sold out before I got there but I managed to try some that a friend had.

Saw an ad in the Metro this morning for Founders Centennial and Phillips Hop Circle - said available now exclusively at the LCBO. Can't find it in the database yet though.
