Re: Vermont
If anyone finds themselves driving the desolate stretch from Cornwall/Massena through NY State, Filion's diner in Churubusco (a few minutes outside Chateaugay NY) is probably one of the best old school truck stop-type restaurants still going today... providing you hit the place when it's actually op...

32.55 per bottle on the Kriek. If it went active at 10:00 it was sold out within minutes..... or it hasn't gone active yet at all.
EDIT: Just let me order 6 - lets see now if/when this gets confirmed. If you're on the LCBO site right now hit refresh!

Had to work all evening Saturday but there were a few leftover kegs on at Hafis. Trillium PM Dawn was a standout, wasn't crazy about the J. Wakefield Hefe, but it's not like I'll have regular access to these ever.
Will gladly make a point to get out of work and go next year!

Re: Godspeed Brewery
All in all I quite liked it and I'm a bit puzzled by the negativity, especially from those who were its biggest proponents before it opened. Reading Belgian's final few lines above got me thinking - I know that quite a few brewers in Montreal like to go to Le Cheval Blanc for that very reason (easy stuff that the brewers want to drink).

Bring a couple hundred just to be on the safe side. That might even be a conservative number.

Re: What're you drinking right now?
A few from the Across the Nation east coast 6 pack. Sometimes i forget the target market for this thing is the molbatts drinker who wants to take some baby steps wading out of the shallow end. So far its coming off like Beer Camp with Kamp Krustyesque councillors. Quidi Vidi Hefe collab: seemed wate...
