Re: LCBO Autumn Craft Beer Release 2016

I had one about 2 weeks ago, really quite tasty. Nothing particularly special about it, but a nice take on a brown ale

Re: Birreria Volo

Beers and ciders that challenge me the most are often the ones I most enjoy and remember.[/quote] I'll third this. Except for that one time I made the mistake of buying an absinthe beer. Challenged me alright;to have more than one sip. Fucking wretched. It is one of the beers that I remember above a...

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

I have to laugh at the talk of gouging and complaining about price increases, I mean no one has batted an eye at Bellwoods' pricing of their IIPAs at 6.25 or 6.50 for a 500 ml bottle. How is that any worse than a $6 473ml can? I don't like the pricing on either but given how our dollar is in the st...

I loved Devil's Pale Ale. Wish it was still available instead of Pompous Ass. Especially when it was fresh, it was really something.

I was also a huge fan of the Devils. I wish it was still around

Re: LCBO Winter Craft Beer Release 2016

Just had a 2013 unibroue 17 over the course of last night(2/3) and tonight(1/3). I have to say, I wasn't loving it. He second night I enjoyed it more, the carbonation had died down and it had opened up a bit. I had a 2013 last year about this time and loved it....so for me that seems to be the swee...

Re: LCBO 2016 Christmas Gift Packs

I saw Thor's hammer today, grabbed one and a few cans of karma citra.......then realized I'd misplaced my wallet. Hopefully the 12 bottles or so will still be there tomorrow I'll do you one better. Picked up a bottle of Thor's Hammer last night at Wilson/Dufferin LCBO only to have it slip out of my...

Re: What're you drinking right now?

GL karma citra. I almost passed on it after reading on here, others thoughts that this is the worst batch there's been. I'll say that karma citra probably wasn't in my top five IPA/pa from Great Lakes, I found it good but not great. Until now.....for me, this is by far the best karma I've had. I'd s...
