Re: LCBO 2016 Christmas Gift Packs
Lots of the bons veux when I was in store today. Picked up a couple bottles, for now. Noticed that nutcracker Porter is out now also. Is it just me or has it jumped in price?

Drinking this now, still quite nice but I'll have to say I preferred it fresh. I remember there being a slight funk and sourness before, but it's all gone. This is drinking a little bit like a tripel now

Re: LCBO Winter Craft Beer Release 2016
Has anyone actually drank a Kasteel Donker in years? I feel the same about the Samichlaus. There's a hot sweet fire in my mouth. I might get some fresh Sami, stick it in the snowbank and drink it ice cold after a really active day (hiking skiing or shoveling snow) - this is a beer that might be bet...

Re: General LCBO Debate & Discussion Thread
Currently drinking Bobcaygeon Common Loon, not a fan, but just realised it was canned in June. I suppose I would give it another chance if it's fresh, but right now, there's not much there but malts. I also had cans of Bench Ball's Falls, and Redline Clutch. I much prefer the both of those. All tha...

Re: What're you drinking right now?
The past little while: Stone IPA-this is my second experience with this beer, the first being a not so fresh 6pack in Vegas a few years ago. This time, i believe the bottling date was sometime in July, so not so bad....but I still wasn't really wowed by this beer. It was ok, but for my money, we hav...

Re: Beer in Grocery Stores
Not that i go to the(only one in town that sells beer)grocery store often for beer but each of the half dozen times I've went, there has not been anything different....ever. Just wondering if this is the case with other grocery stores as well, or just this perticular one. I'm not expecting them to h...

Re: Barncat Artisan Ales, Cambridge
Ballsy....i like it. Hopefully the aroma doesnt smell too much like durian so that people will not be put off. Finally got around to getting into a bottle of the Rat Queen Impy stout. Beautiful stuff, super roasty malts and coffee, rich creamy mouthfeel, subtle carbonation, not too sweet with a littl...

Add me to the list about loving the citra grove. Excellent stuff. Two for two from Bench. It appears that they're going to have a full time tap at Baker Street station
