Re: Bellwoods Brewery

Interesting.....I've never heard of this either until now. However, a few years ago I was in Costa Rica drinking the local lager, Imperial. Every time I drank it all I could taste was onions. My wife thought I was crazy, fuck; i thought I was crazy, but I couldn't get past it. I'd been down there a ...

Re: Cameron's

I hear that, I dont remember the last time i've seen fresh RPA......or even close to fresh. I'd wager to say it was probably back when it use to be in bombers at the lcbo, maybe 3 years ago. A real shame, because I do love it when it's fresh

Re: Advice for Toronto to Vermont road trip

I'd second Syracuse, if driving through 'merica. I always hit Al's whisky lounge in armoury square. Good tap list, shit tonne of whisky, live music, good food and down the street from empire brewing, and the blue tusk(pretty stellar tap list)

Re: What're you drinking right now?

Well, good to know that there is some hope. I bought one six pack when it first came along, I believe it was about 3 months old at the time....tasty enough but age was beginning to show. At the price point, I'm not going to buy again until I see fresher stuff. The porter, I'm more likely to buy, reg...

Re: Beer in Grocery Stores

I know someone who works at Costco and they said that they will start selling beer. Although Itll probably be no different than normal grocery stores sell. I wish we could get the wine/beer selection that American Costco gets. I do believe that Costco now has the greatest wine p urchasing power in ...

Re: What're you drinking right now?

Flying monkeys coast to coast less-this has been sitting in the fridge for about a year. I really enjoyed it, not sure how it was fresh....but this was drinking a bit like a stout. Lots of chocolate, plum, raisin and some black tea The hops have basically completely disappeared however

Cameron's

I've noticed over the last little while that Cameron's has been rebranding their beers and switching to canned products, anybody have any idea if the RPA will go the same way. It's probably the one Cameron's product that would really benefit from this......and hopefully ensure more fresh stock

Re: LCBO Online Ordering Launches

Anyone know the rhyme or reason behind why some beers can be ordered and others cannot? For instance, I can now have Paulaner delivered to my doorstep, but no dice on Mort Subite or Fullers ESB. Also, the LCBO discontinued London Pride. It appears that the lcbo may have come to their senses a...

I love Fullers, and count some of their beers as a few of my go-to favourite beers......but their honey dew(I think it's called) is pretty fucking bad

Re: LCBO Autumn Craft Beer Release 2016

Is the Fullers the same one as a few years ago, in the blue-purple box? Apparently it is the Fuller's Brewers Reserve Imperial Stout with 10.7% ABV and the addition of rose buds. Worth a shot if anyone'e curious. Yeah that was the purple box, and one of my all time fave imperial stouts. So damn goo...
