The Agency Store I went to just outside if Peterborough sold 99% macro-brew. Steam Whistle was the 1%. I was pissed and will never go back.

I was just going to post this but you beat me to it. Yes, I'll be going but they say they are going to get more breweries which they need.

As a homebrewer, yes, I may start to buy beer again if OCB are allowed their own stores. Bloody politicians just have too much say in this. Allow OCB stores and step away Ont gov't and let capitalism take it's course. Until then, enjoying tax free homebrew on tap.

Since I make my own beer, this is a non-issue for me. I do, however buy beer the odd time. It would be nice to NOT go to the beer store for a change.

It's a start though.

atomeyes, Heym I know what your are thinking. It's beer but that is it. It would of been a better beer if they added hallertauer instead of centennial hops.

Costco Peterborough had their Brewhouse Lager kits on sale for $19.97. Acceptable beer and the price was right. Bought 5. They have none left and don't plan on getting any more in. They said they couldn't move them fast enough at $38.

Kinda late on this, but incase there are any locals that didn't hear about their grand opening, it's tomorrow.

I can't buy any of those beers in my hometown but will if I see them at our LCBO. That Polish Lager is still there though, right, front and center.

I think the brewer of Russian Gun was on the Ontario Craft Brewers podcast talking about it.

You'll certainly be able to chill it in record time. That is so cold. You are braver than me, I wouldn't brew in that weather, even in a garage. Stay warm if possible.

If you use Twitter, search the Beer Store. They are really running scared. Texas Cops tweet how wonderful our Beer Store operates. I have never seen such Bull in all my life. The Beer Store is acting like parents to small children. Taking our hands and keeping us all safe from those bad Convenience ...
