Re: Lot 41 - Delta Marriott Pearson Airport
It doesn’t take much, does it. Even having those three choices is so nice compared to only having the standard Molbatt options. Yeah, that's exactly it. It's kind of amazing (but maybe it isn't) that even through the craft beer 'revolution' there are still so many places staunchly about corporate d...

Lot 41 - Delta Marriott Pearson Airport
Pretty random one here, but I found myself at a work event staying at the Delta Marriott nearby to Pearson. I usually don't expect much from airport area hotel bars, but their lobby bar (called "Lot 41") had Rainhard, Beau's Juicy & Mill St Tankhouse on tap, amongst some others. Pleasa...

Re: What's Your Favourite Ontario West Coast IPA?
I wish we could get Two Hearted here. I have a Quick Beer video trip to Kalamazoo in March and I'm trying to get an interview with Bell's. Since they're now owned by Kirin/Lion I guess the old reasons for why they never came to Ontario – supposedly Larry Bell refused to deal with LCBO – don't apply...

Re: Quebec City Beer
We didn't touch St. Roch, but it seems to be the traditional shopping street with some nice dinning, bars, and coffee shops. Highly recommend Quebec City, but similar to another table at dinner that I eavesdropped on; It's an awkward distance. The flights are expensive (relative to distance), the t...

Thanks for sharing an update! I used to have a client who was a sponsor of Carnaval so I went for a few years. Always a great vibe and enjoyed exploring the funky bars along Saint-Jean, which it looks like is where the places you went to were as well.

Any recent visits to Cleveland? They agreed to a Quick Beer video so will be heading down there in early May. Never visited before!

Re: Kalamazoo
Kalamazoo confirmed they would like A Quick Beer video so I'm heading over there in early March. Will be interesting to check it out, besides going to the Bell's bar I have not done a single thing of anything else there.

You got that right. I usually don't stress about beers coming and going but that's one I will miss. I'll probably buy the mix packs when I'm driving through Buffalo in the future now.

It’s funny you mention about English, when I was in Ecuador a couple of years ago I communicated with a bartender using Google translate on our phones and showing it to each other. It did the trick!

Re: Blood Brothers’ Over The Tap - $7 to $12 for 4 oz pours
I saw a couple of tweets (x's?) from Max Morin (Godspeed) but he didn't name names so I wasn't sure what he was referring to.
$12 for 4oz from a can is wild.
