Re: What're you brewing right now?

Brew York club brew on Sunday was a 10G Wit (straining my system at 1040 OG), going to be split between a fresh batch on fruit for the next meeting and a sour/funk blend for next spring/summer sometime

Saturday at Hungry Brew Hops
Boshkung Brewing Kellerbier, seemed to be lacking some of the mineral/chalkiness I associate with the style but otherwise very nice and refreshing
High Roads Bronan Vermont Style Ale, it's good but nowhere near Heady Topper levels of goodness

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

Don't suppose anyone has seen Three Eyed Raven (most recent Game of Thrones beer) yet? I can't even find an LCBO listing for it, but Horizon told me it should be in stores any day

Driving around in circles in a billboard wasting gas. How 21st century. Actually, the IndyCars use oxygen and hydrogen -- not gasoline. Thus, the vapours they produce are none other than good ol H20. Noise pollution? Now that's another story... As one who lives a hop, skip and a jump from th...

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

I've been very impressed with most of Sawdust City's products. swung by the brewery a week ago, got fresh cans of Golden Beach Pale, Alt, Skinny Dipping Stout, Lone Pine and both versions of Princess. Expensive yes, but there wasn't a flaw in any of those beers. The regular Princess smacks you with ...

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

^ I wish there were legitimate audits and oversights of many things, such as bank and insurance company fee charging practices, and anti-competitive brewery tactics to manipulate bars to exclude smaller brewers. Like many things, there's no money in it for the goberment so they don't care about the...

Re: Re:

I love! It looks great. One cool thing that would be great is a more dedicated beer bar/pub guide. I know the forum has built up a long history of recommendations and announcements of openings, but if this could be turned into a dedicated resource, say even with maps I think it would make great con...

Re: What're you drinking right now?

While watching the game last night with Sprague11 How Sound Hopraiser - nice citrusy burst to it, with a slightly acidic stone fruit finish Wild Beer Evolver - barn funky nose, but the flavour profile is far more of an English IPA Surly/FFF/Real Ale Blakkr - smooth chocolate roast, more of a woodsy,...

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

Is it me, or is SN PA not worth the bother? I've had it numerous times in the US and never come away impressed. Maybe 5-10 years ago it would have been something, but now with GLB, muskoka and others pushing the IPA limit, it always struck me as a pedestrian beer...? It is a Pale Ale, not an IPA. S...
