3.60 for 330ml IPA? That is probably already 4-6 months old? Nah I'll pass...much better beers locally in the IPA genre for a lot better value and quality.

Re: Collective Arts - Ransack the Universe
The project #2 IPA from collective arts is much better in my opinion. If you can review that versus Ransack I'd like to hear your thoughts on the two

Re: Big Rig Brewery - Release of the Hounds
Meh black IPAs are one of my least favourite styles. I prefer juicy hazy turbid IPAs followed west coast dank and resins IPAs. I've always found black IPAs just to not meet my expectations.

That Jacobins Rouge man is one damn tasty beer . Sad I can't find anymore in Durham region.

Re: Rainhard Brewing
Had a bottled Kapow! Previously only ever had it on tap and thought it was great west coast ipa! The bottled version held up and was delicious. Now can I keep getting fresh stock of this? Another story

Agree that Ransack has never hit the "spot" for me...but project #2 was damn tasty and hope it's a permanent release.

Re: Great Lakes Brewery - Octopus wants to fight
Fyi this is a seasonal release like most of GLB IPAs . Suggest you stock up if you like it but honestly IMHO GLB has better IPAs such as lake effect, Thrust! But welcome to the better class of IPAs in Ontario.

Re: Great Lakes
Lake Effectt canned date feb 18 is still drinking phenomenal to me. Octopus has been fairly consistent for me...not as bitter as last year but overall pretty consistent both in cans and on tap.

Haven't had a bad Bench offering yet. But the Citra Grove in 750 ml bottle is a bit much for me...I want about 12-15 oz of this max before moving on to other styles...just a personal preference

Re: Mill St. Brewery - Cobblestone Stout
Lol that mill St is "real craft beer" vs Guiness in this style. Good beer is good beer... Don't get sucked into "craft" beer is better...plenty of craft brewers putting out shite beer...for the style all things being equal Guiness vs mill St... I'll take a Guiness

Re: What're you drinking right now?
Over last few days lake effect--1 month old but still wow Jever Pilsner --fresh spicy crisp wonderful and at 2.05 a can unbeatable founders breakfast stout--when can this be a regular listing? Muskoka spring oddity--I'm done with Muskoka beers...this was just not good Westmalle Dubbel--great example...

Re: Flying Monkeys - Smashbomb atomic IPA
This beer was exciting 6 years ago...sadly it was all we really had at the time for IPAs. This is a definite pass for me now, i revisited it about a month ago and it's just not something i would spend my money on now
