Tried the Belhaven Blueberry this weekend, and it was pretty much as expected, it's a nice summer beer, I found the blueberry flavor to be a wee bit artificial, and from the ingredients list you see that they have added 'flavoring', not actual fruit... I do have a bit of a soft spot for Belhaven as ...

Sainte Paix What kind of fruit? My bad, I just went in to look through the bottles to see and I can't see that one, I started off entering the beers based on the receipt, I think perhaps that was an error at the register because I don't have a Sainte Paix in my box... Perhaps the Tord Vis (Maple) r...

re: the Lab fee - there's no point us all postulating about what might or might not happen, Inertia asked, was told that by the LCBO, let's leave it at that and we'll cross that bridge when we come to it... Back on track - I'll probably be interested in any of the brewers already mentioned, but spec...

Re: Quelque Chose and Warming beers
Anyone know of a relatively foolproof way to "warm" a 750ml bottle? I've never attempted this before, and don't want to ruin a bottle. Have no idea of how long, how hot, etc. Throw it in the fire. Wait about 2-3 minutes, use tongs to get it back out. Wait til you've had about a dozen beer...

Take a peek at this , it's a pretty decent picture of when he leaped over the advertising hoardin...
