The Bar Towel

Brewed twice this weekend. A porter, and a saison with honey and lavender.

I brewed sort of a margarita inspired IPA today with lime, agave nectar, and fleur de sel.

yesterday I brewed an IPA with grapefruit juice & zest, hopped with amarillo, simcoe, and galaxy.

Just to keep you guys in the loop, we now have a space and our brewhouse is currently en route.

I brewed a fairly simple saison today. The plan is to add some fruit (probably strawberries, or raspberries) when they are ready locally. I used my saison yeast blend that i have been repitching over the past year and a half. Lately it has been souring quite aggressively. Should make for a pretty aw...

Just finished brewing an all galaxy hopped double IPA. I had a little bit of hibiscus left over from some previous beers, so I decided to add that also. Could be pretty awesome.

I brewed an IPA with mostly citra and a little amarillo today.

today I brewed a saison with orange blossom honey and hibiscus.

Thanks for all the love you guys. The bar has been set very high for us, but we wouldn't want it any other way.

I can safely say the Durian Saison is not a recipe we will be scaling up.

The other half of Barncat is a BT member too actually! I will let him come in here and reveal himself though.

But yeah, we are a ways out still. We just placed the order for the brewhouse this week, so the ball is rolling.

In an effort to not let any fellow bar towlers down, there may or may not be a new small brewery coming at some point to the Cambridge area...
