I can only make it to 1 of the sessions, so will be selling 1 ticket closer to the date.
I'll post it on here first for the BT crowd when I know which session I can't make it to....won't know until a few days before the event.

Re: Godspeed Brewery
All in all I quite liked it and I'm a bit puzzled by the negativity, especially from those who were its biggest proponents before it opened. People convinced themselves that this place was going to be DDC Ontario right off the bat, which I don't believe was ever his intention. FWIW The Dort has bec...

I've got some recent Yalla Yallas as well...always tasty.
Wasn't sure about the cosmic beer, but only had a sample before....will give it a better go and open a can soon.

Barrel 24 was pretty darn good....
They've had the small bottles for some time now I think? But ya, getting a bit pricey at Burdock for even the non-barrled / soured stuff sometimes.

Very nice! Great Divide I do enjoy...any of the Yeti versions are quite tasty. It would be nice to see some of their other beers return too...been 6-7 (maybe longer?) years since they had their brief appearance in Ontario. Wonder if they're being imported by someone different this time...used to be ...

Re: King Taps - First Canadian Place
I've been a couple times now (once on Saturday and again last night). Super young staff with little to no beer knowledge (they're at least friendly and the service is on point), solid tap list and pretty good food. As a sports fan, I'm a bit of a sucker for places like this and The Craft Brasserie....

Re: Riverhead Brewing Co. - Kingston
Kingston is a decent beer destination now...enough to make a summer weekend trip worthwhile! Drive down through the county. There are some nice breweries along there now too. Lake on the mountain doesn't have the best beer, but their patio is the nicest I can think of in Ontario. Ya...probably wont...

Re: Drinking old - not aged - beer
About 4 years ago when they still sold beer on Ebay in the UK I bought some old Courage RIS bottles from the 70s and 90s, including one from my birth year of 75.
Didn't expect much at all, but they were all great, the 78 was the best. Won't ever get a chance to do that again I'm sure.

Re: Cider
For cider enthusiasts, I highly recommend a trip out to Her Father's Cider bar. I was there for a tasting menu recently and both the food and paired ciders were fantastic. The owner's family owns a cidery so many of the ciders on tap are unique (thai ginger, earl grey infused and higher end produce...

Re: King Taps - First Canadian Place
Their menu and taps list is upon their site now. Overall a good tap list. Some reasonably priced beers, some over priced. Or go for a Grandmas Boy 2017 bottle for $44 if you want to go crazy. $19.75 for nachos...is that a Toronto record? (before chicken or guac). I can see it being successful there....

Re: Rouge River
Apparently, the plan is not to repeat any beer. So, their next Winter IPA and Winter pale ale will be different (by using different hops?) than the last Winter IPA & pale ale. I'm not sure I would make that business decision. However, with the understanding many beer geeks rarely buy the same b...
