No, you can't please everyone, Which is my gripe with Ontario brewers. They try to please everyone, and end up pleasing no one with MOR beer. I know things are improving and I do look forward to trying the beaver river on cask. No experience with the style. It just didn't do anything for me, so yes ...

Looking at reviews online of the screaming beaver to see of anywhere around Ottawa had it yet, looks like just toronto though. Did that Hog Town Harry guy used to work for Beaus or something? Sure has a hate on for some reason. Pretty funny in contrast to the decent reviews, maybe he works for some...

I think it may even be better than last year. Is anyone noticing a bit of sulfur in the nose? Didn't notice that last summer. Extremely clean and refreshing beer. Glad to see Molson still lets them play.

10 bitter years
aphrodisiaque

Switched up the order last night and the 10 bitter yrs just crushed the garrison in every category, except perhaps appearance.

Dead Jumbo
10 Bitter Ones
Garrison IIPA

NB: the Garrison wasn't nearly as bitter as I previously remembered. Perhaps my taste buds were fried at the end of this sess.

Happy Orval Appreciation Day! And what a perfect day to have one of the best beers. I personally like Orval fresh to get the most out of the dry hop. I don't think I've ever had a dryer beer. What a great made up holiday.

Just having my first sip of the Imperial IPA now... excellent! Thanks Cass! This makes me (almost) forget the annoyance of picking up the beer earlier today... which ended with me just grabbing the box and walking away while the LCBO employee saying I still needed to sign stuff. The system they hav...

Any word on when this long awaited order will arrive? The deposit was taken a few weeks ago, but I haven't heard anything. Thanks!

Good info.. thanks Bobsy + R&R. Has anyone been to the brewery (old or new)? Thoughts? I've been to the brewery twice. Once in Summer and once in Spring. I would highly recommend making the trip to all TO beer geeks. If you think their beers are good in the bottle...well, let's just say that th...

Chloramine in Toronto water

Hi All,

Well I'm about to take the life changing plunge into homebrewing. To those who brew using TO water is the chloramine in TO water bad enough that you must use campden tabs?

Thanks
