I'll look Sunday to see if the clamps on our Firestones are any good. We intend to cut them up to use as lids and heat shields anyways. Cover the shipping from Cambridge, and they're yours. I'll post pics during a lull in brewing.

Again, SI IPA comes in dark brown glass stubbies in a sealed six pack box. Unless the LCBO is microwaving whole batches I see no reason to suspect they are responsible for the beer's consistent inconsistency. The LCBO can also not be blamed for the beer varying in colour, strength and carbonation.....

I buy the Sgt. almost every time I am at my cottage near Huntsvile. There is a LCBO in Dwight that I go to, that has all of their beer in a cooler room. I haven't had a bad batch, although I have had some that are less than others. I will keep buying it, as I have to hope that this problem is as muc...

Good for Len. The Kiwi is my pub of choice, being only a 15 minute stumble away.

I don't drink beer at all anywhere else in Cambridge, as I can't possibly get anything worth drinking.

I bought 2 of these for a homebrew planning session a few weeks ago, and the complaints we had have already been mentioned here.

There could have been so much done with this beer, but as it is, I don't think I will buy it again unless I have a friend who is very keen to try it.

Its an excellent spicy witbeer. Ratebeer.com has it as a spice herb vegetable beer, but I disagree, as I think it is just a witbeer with other spices in it. Does RateBeer use the BJCP guidelines as a basis for the allocation of style? If so, the placement makes perfect sense.... I tried one of thes...

I remember last year Grand River by far had the most attention. It was always funny to see the reactions on people's faces as they walked away taking their first sip of either the Plowman's or the Galt Knife :P. Some of them didn't seem to "get it" in regards to the beers. It was funny bu...

If you see 4 guys, 3 of whom are 6'4" plus, one very heavily tattooed, and one guy about 5'8", that is fairly certainly us. I will be one of the large non-heavily tattooed ones. Say hi, we'll have a pint.

I lived in Waterloo for about 4 years before I moved to Cambridge 7 years ago, all of these years are above the age of majority. I take Oktoberfest for what it is, and enjoy it as such. While the beer is a large part of the celebrations both in Germany, and here, that is not the only part. It is wor...

Darn it, the one Friday I don't go to the brewery, and I miss out on a new product launch.

I tried this a couple of weeks ago at the brewery, and am looking forward to having a growler full.
