Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

Definitely... that's how most off sales were done when they first opened their retail sales.

Re: General LCBO Debate & Discussion Thread

the LCBO's turning their Danforth and Broadview location into a pilot location for ethnic-focused wine. it will have more Greek wine SKUs. . Hopefully that means that their beer selection doesn't get any worse! (I'm not so happy with the current selection there ... but that is true of most LCBOs to...

Interesting. Not a chance in hell he'll win, but it at least grabs headlines and increases the awareness of "faux" craft

Hopefully! I hate the fact that they were bought out, but at least they seem to be keeping things interesting!

Really nice place ... but...

...really pricey.

This is my local, but probably one of the most expensive places in the city to get a pint!

I don't really mind the sports bar feel. The city needs a few good sports bars with good beer.

Cooincidence?

Toronto has horrible sports teams and horrible craft beer selection at sports venues....coincidence? I think not!

Better Beer makes better teams!

... or at least happier more satisfied fans even when their team is losing! :D

Hopefully it will reopen

Hopefully it will reopen. Seems like the landlord has a chronic problem...himself (or herself). From my understanding they screwed over Denisons, and now perhaps Duggans.... would likely make any bar potential think twice...nice location, but not THAT nice. I agree having a long term stable tenant a...

Denison's Weissbier

I've been elated ever since Denison's Weissbier has become available in cans -- buying out the stock at my local LCBO with each visit. While I love the current flavour, even before it was available in cans, the Weissbier that has been available on draft didn't seem to be "as good" as what ...

Probably either Mill St Stock or tankhouse...only because it's easy to pick up kegs to put in the keg fridge. Wish Ontario had a better system of distributing kegs....my rotation would be much more varied.

As I've said here on these boards before when I grab a six pack of a Unibroue from the top shelf dust falls all round. Woo! Pre-aged Unibroue! Actually the best unibroue I think I've ever had was some Maudite that they had to blow the dust off of at my parents local beer store (a VERY small town ne...
