They have craft beers at the Mac Grad spot now? My days at the 'Phoenix' were dominated by Labatt 50. Should go back and visit one days, it's been years.
Sorry no tips on shuffleboard tables.......

Sleeman 20th Anniversary

Anyone tried this new Ale they're starting to promote for their Anniversary?

Anyone know if this is something special / worth trying or just a fairly generic offering?

I enjoyed he Anchor steam...but only enough to support it as a 'seasonal release'. The Dead Guy Ale I am looking forward to, and could drink it on a more regular basis. I've been stuck working away at the computer this evening...nothing too mind boggling, so I took the liberty in cracking open a rec...

Have to agree with the posts here, that this is a beauty. I've only got one left, but will likely grab a few more this weekend to share and enjoy over the summer.
Last year I picked up a case of the ST UnEarthly, and it was too much for some people....I think they'll be able to handle this one.

Holy crap...that's quick. I wonder if there was any sort of ticket limit in place? So much for my 'pindering' this event. Good to see the popularity though.
I've got to make it out to one of these special events sooner or later...

Curious abou the Steamwhistle. It's always been high on my most hated local brews. I've probably had it some dozen times....and it was always tainted, unfresh swill. I had it for the first timie on TAP a few weeks ago, due to lack of options and thought I got the wrong beer, it as so unlike any Stea...

Ok, have to follow up on my original post. Now that I've had a ST IPA I think I may be drinking less wheat beers this summer and more hoppy beers. Can't wait for more! Oh, and it was $8 at Smokeless....still high, but not as bad as previously reported. My updated guestimation for summer consumption:...

I'm starting to migrate to the wheat beers already, after picking up some Mill St Wit today.
I agree about the year-round hops though...and am most looking forward to the ST and DFH brews coming out soon!

Hmmm, you really think so? It's 'ok' even by African standards IMO. Awhile back someone posted about beer in Africa on a travel forum I frequent. I took the time to sum up my preferences for the beers I've had there.....I've pasted my order of preference below. No fancy ratings or anything, just per...

I've never understood the availability for Anchor. It's at a number of stores, but NONE in my area (Oakville / Burlington). It's been that way for as long as I can remember.
So the only time I get some is if I visit Mississauga or Toronto, which is infrequent.

Some of these events popping up lately also INCLUDE taxes and gratuity in the price (not all but some), which is a huge factor to consider as well for the budget conscious. When dining I never have a '4 course' meal. Sometimes not even 3 if I skip dessert...but at BB I often get dessert. My most rec...

If the accuracy is =/- 9 points then I guess it makes all results null and void...those scores are all awefully close from top to bottom!
Sorry I missed it...!
