Re: CRAFT Beer Market - Toronto
we've hit a definite wall. until keg distribution opens up/is reformed and we actually get national keg "imports" or some good micros from the US, we're in a weird ONCON phase. ontario content on tap, with no reason to choose Bar A vs Bar K vs staying at home and drinking You are entirely...

Re: La Carnita Eglinton/Good Fortune bar (basement)
pretty sure Omnipollo is not represented by Keep6. i may be wrong... think it's some agency called Craft? Yep, they are repped by the Craft Brand Company: https://www.facebook.com/CraftBrandCo/ And yes, the Swedish stuff was brought in as part of the TFOB. Pretty sure it's a one-off. But the people...

Re: LCBO Autumn Craft Beer Release 2016
I really enjoyed the Prearis Quadrocinno when I drank it in Belgium a few summer's ago. If I recall correctly, the guy behind it won homebrewer of the year in Belgium and then subsequently was invited to contract brew at De Proef. It was really good quality stuff - still very traditional quad but a ...

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS
What the heck is going on? It's like Christmas! Is it possible that all of the keep6 private import beers needed lcbo numbers for some reason? And that these wont actually be for sale at lcbo locations? There was an event at George Brown last month for the Torst book launch at which they served tho...

Re: Cleveland and surrounding area
Anyone been lately to Cleveland? Any and all recommendations, especially for bottle shops, are greatly appreciated. My favourite stop for bottles is Mack's Beverage (technically in Parma) and Warehouse Beverage is also very good. Between the two you should be set ;) I'd also recommend a stop at Fat...

The gentleman who owns Stir was also behind the original West 50 when it opened. He's super knowledgeable and passionate about craft beer. Very dedicated to getting the best he can for the draft (and it sounds like bottles too!)
