Top 5 in no particular order (this list could also change as there were about 10-15 beers I was considering): - Mike Duggan #9 IPA - Durham Hop Addict - Denison's Weissbier - Mill Street Cobblestone Stout - C'est What Hazelnut Chocolate Ale This list makes me wish we had some double IPA's or imperia...

Re: LCBO Autumn 2009 Release

Other than highlighted, none are in the lcbo.com system. None of highlighted are showing stock, except the Rogue which may just be very old stock I'm pretty sure the Rogue is old stock. I bought a couple bottles in Mississauga back in July or August, and there seemed to be a few dozen in the system...

That is a good deal. I got one just like it from the Real Canadian Superstore 5 years ago... I think it was $65. I use to buy all my caps & B-brite there as well. I'd recommend getting an autosiphon. You'll need a thermometer too... Need some advice. Bare bones minimum to go from extract to all...

I think I'm about to start homebrewing soon. Would anyone recommend starting with kits or buying everything individually? I have already read much of the How to Brew online book by John Palmer, so I have a basic idea of the process. I think I will start with extracts only at the beginning since it s...

so that's a train to Oshawa and then a bus to Peterborough. At first I thought there was train service all the way! One cool train service I did notice is a weekend train to Niagara falls and St Catherines. It says "seasonal" though. Ya, from what I understand the train service will only ...

I wish more places would switch Guinness for Cobblestone Stout. It would give me something better to drink at many places I find myself at when I'm out with groups.

Last night's lineup was Great Lakes Pumpkin Ale (awesome), Church Key Holy Smoke (started out awesome, I think the smoke was a bit much for me though), Stonehammer Dark, St Ambroise Pale Ale, Hop Addict and finished off with St Ambroise Oatmeal Stout. With the first 3 I had, I have now tried every b...
