Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Energy efficiency was definitely a consideration when I bought the fridge, however as it turns out, I haven't noticed any increase in hydro costs. It's likely because I have the thermostat set at the lowest possible setting there is... and the freezer portion still frosts over! So yes, I do need to ...

Total cost was about $800. The fridge cost me $250 which seems a little high but the ones you see in the Buy & Sell Classifieds for $50 are usually the smaller fridges that would not accommodate two 30L kegs. The conversion equipment was about $350. Nowadays, this is probably cheaper and easier ...

The Bow & Arrow also has a patio that fits maybe 8 people at most, but it's a patio nonetheless and worthy of mention. I've sat there! You get a great view of the LCBO!

The 30L Cranberry Maple arrives at home tomorrow and the other tap still has about half a keg of Black Oak's Double Chocolate Cherry Stout. Man, I love this beer! Also bought a bunch of the spec...

I'm in... as long as we stay overnight. Copious quantities of drinking followed by travelling in a vehicle for hours doesn't mix well with me!

Unless it's the Magic Bus... then I'm fine with it!

In case some of you think it's impossible to get there via public transit, it's a lot easier than you think. Just head North on the subway to Finch station. Cross the street to the York Region Transit (YRT) station. Take the Bathurst Route 88 bus and get off at Major Mac. Then enjoy your leisurely 1...

Just for the record, I hate ginger!

Yeah, the CN Tower climb is something you just gotta do at least once in your lifetime.
