Very brave of biegaman, kudos to you my friend.
I'll just add all of those stories were told to me by the persons who were wronged as well, along with many others, which is why, like I mentioned at the beginning of the thread, I decided a while ago I would not talk to Sammy any more.

IMO, they kept a regular beer, changed the name, put it in a silly bottle, vintage dated it for the same year it expires, and are charging more. I don't care if it costs .02 cents more, it is a needless move. IMO of course, unless you have an issue with people having their own opinions. Len, how is...

I think we are just accustomed to having the option in some of the better beer bars. I know growing up in Ottawa and Gatineau, there's no chance in a million years that you could have ordered a half-pint, there's was no such thing. I think it's more of a recent development in Ontario. And there are ...

I do wonder what people would say if Tim Horton's decides it will only sell them a large coffee? Its only like a quarter more... Well if we want to compare Craft Beer to fast food I guess... To me a closer analogy would be when you go to a restaurant and order a coffee, it only comes in one size --...

Responsibility works both ways, does it not? Well to me, not in the way we are talking about. They are there to provide a product that I am purchasing. They are responsible for ensuring that the product I buy is the product I receive and to ensure it's of good quality. That's about it as far as I'm...

Why should I have to order a full pint when I don't want a full pint, and in turn giving the business more money than I am getting service for? You don't have to. If you can't drink a full pint, go home. What if they bring in the 10 Bitter Years or any other high strength beer; shouldn't that be se...

Care to be a bit more constructive? It is a very big deal that a bar no longer offers the choice of serving size for an alcoholic product; it's quite irresponsible! Very big deal is a bit of stretch don't you think? It's not like they are forcing you to drink all of it. Order a pint and leave some ...

I see it as Muskoka shooting themselves in the foot. The cans were such a bargain. The product is still quite good, but the price point would make the casual buyer think twice. Since one of the reasons for switching to the big bottle is that they are selling very well for them, I'm not sure how lik...

Though I prefer the can I fail to see the problem with a 750ml bottle. It's certainly not too much beer to consume once open, it's less then 2 cans and it's a Hefe, it's not like you have to drink 750ml of a 12% Barley Wine. Also, if the price is right it can be good value as well. Do we know what t...
