I agree that a brewpub wouldn't be viable right now but there are three condo developments in the works in the immediate area. Once those are populated you're going to see business in the neighbourhood really perk up.Belgian wrote:Though I still don't know if Wood/Dan is a place I could see a brew pub just yet

Re: East Enders want YOU
Maybe north of Danforth on Broadview would be better... Or else east of Pape on Danforth. East of Pape might have the best accessibility all round. Molson Stock Ale. I know I mentioned this recently but I tried it on draft again and it was even better: fairly malty, a little estery and with decent big brewery-type hopping. No damp paper smell as often in the past IMO. A Molson counterpart to Labatt 50, sort of like 1970 except there was also L...

Here's Peter McAuslan's take on Keith's Hop Series in this morning's Post : Beer giant Anheuser-Busch Inbev NV did something earlier this spring that most of Canada’s business press missed but craft brewers and bloggers watched with fascination. The company’s Nova Scotia-based sub-unit Alexander Kei...

Heading down to Michigan soon so I will look to see what the local stuff is dated. Beware. I'd made the assumption that beer direct from the brewery is as fresh as you can hope for but the refrigerated Pale Ale I got at the Founders store in Grand Rapids last week was dated 12/14/12. And the Crooke...
