the cooler is at the absolute back of the store...by the storage..that's what I meant (since most people enter from the wine side)...
Could they not at least move it up front in the beer section?

Calgary may be slow to get good beer..but that shouldn't be used as a reason to avoid a true free market system in Ontario. If we had private stores and Premier Gourmet wanted to partner with a Toronto business to open up a location here....I kind of think it would be profitable...very very profitab...

and speaking of the stores...I was at the summerhill LCBO today.. The ST IPA and Rogue Dead Guy could not have been farther out of the way than if they were in storage. They were at the absolute back of the beer section, which is tucked away at the back of the store. In fact, you would only stumble ...

so the Southern Tier is the only open pack twist off at the LCBO? What about coolers? I'm not doubting this, but it all seems odd. And 30 cents a bottle for sticky tape? Or is there some federal sticky tape inspection tax included in that??? Also...once the ST and the Rogue sell out...what do we thi...

Are any of the Milll St. beers twist off? They are in open sixes.. What about the Grolsch beers...with their flip off..I don't think they are covered with tape. Also, a twist off still has a seal that must be broken (and if someone wants to..they can tamper non twist offs).. Has anyone told Southern...

I hope you have your ignore user function implemented Jon Walker so you don't have to have your day sullied with my post (once again..you can attack me...but if I respond...I am the bad guy...a regular Tony Montana of this thread...ha ha....). I don't see why it's a non-issue Steelback...you're saying customers should just shut up and pay whatever we are ordered to pay and not complain? I hope the distributor does do well and good for any distributors bringing in good product and dealing with the hassles... But bottom line...the price we'...

Geez...sounds a little aggressive at your end. Can you point me to where I made any kind of similar comment about you or anyone else on this forum? But go ahead...call me all sorts of names and claim I am the beligerent person...I'm not offended. And make sure you have an extra 17% in your pocket to...

I don't see why I get flak for trying to suggest the state-run monopoly should respect its customers in a democratic country. The glossy booklet that is in stores now (not one year ago...but in stores now....) says $12 for ST IPA. A price of $14.30...is a 19% increase over what the LCBO promises in ...

good point Belgian...we should be debating the quality of beers (and that Christoffel is suprisingly good, I must add...at the risk of always being cast as a Negative Nelly).....and not service. But hey...what if the LCBO did not do lab testing? We'd all be dead! Thanks to Andy Brandt for looking ou...
