Re: What're you drinking right now?

Agreed with Citra Grove needing to be in smaller offerings. I like it but can't drink too much. It's surprisingly sweet for a sour beer.

Plan B Beer Works

Plan B Beer Works opened in st Catharines on St Paul somewhere around 6 months to a year ago. I finally had a chance to drop in a few weeks back and I've gotta say they make some fantastic beers and the prices are good too. The standout for me was the Mango Milkshake IPA. Not the most hoppy IPA but ...

Re: What're you drinking right now?

Over last few days Muskoka spring oddity--I'm done with Muskoka beers...this was just not good i haven't bothered to drink this since it's inaugural year. first, a brewery annointing their beer as "legendary"? lame. i thought this was such a gross mess of a beer. i have no idea how anyone...

Re: Coming Soon to the LCBO

lol wow so what are we saying here? Some of you all may not appreciate our Ontario stouts but I have found many that I enjoyed enough to consider a great Ontario stout. Good enough that at the price of KBS I'll be more then happy to sink that money into locals rather then an import. I like the enti...

Re: Article about 355ml cans comeback

I'm ok with this. I do like to pour my beers but I'd prefer not to always have to trot around with a giant glass mug in my hand. I'm ok with downsizing my glass.

Re: LCBO Lucky Finds

I was in the area yesterday so dropped by the LCBO at Rymal and Upper Centennial in the outskirts of Hamilton. Despite not being listed online, they had about 24 Bons Voeux bottles kicking around - at the same reduced price of $5.55 that Belgian noted as being applied at one of the downtown Toronto...

Re: What're you drinking right now?

Bellwoods jelly king plum-super tasty beer, but I was expecting the plum to be more noticeable. I think I prefer normal jelly king. Side launch lager-I don't drink much lager, but have this a shot on recommendation. Really nice stuff. Good summer beer. Ransack the universe-still loving this beer. A...

Re: Nickel Brook Brewing

I'm glad this sparked debate and different insinuations about the nature of my question but I hate to disappoint folks it's just simply a question. As a consumer of this product I'll ask whatever questions I feel like, within reason. One person said it correctly. It's good to know that there are peo...

Re: Nickel Brook Brewing

Just out of curiosity but does nicklebrook have any programs where they support our own vets or homeless canadian citizens? One day we will build a big, beautiful wall and make Ontario great again We already live in the greatest place on earth. It's a legit question. I'm not questioning. I'm just a...

Re: Market Brewing Company - Bear Hug IPA Preview

Have you had a ballast point grapefruit sculpin? If so are they similar in taste or only in the fact that both have a grapefruit backbone? Hoppy have you tried Collective Arts Ransack or Great Lakes Lake Effect yet? Would be interested how they compare to those I haven't tried any of the above, how...
