Have fun, and be prepared for walking....the bars aren't close to each other! Definitely true about Barcelona. It's a bit better in Madrid, but at least there's plenty to see in between! Also, be prepared for potential difficulties in getting a beer off the main tourist paths in the afternoons. Sie...

Looks like the Victory Cafe's days are numbered, at least at their current location, which is a big part of its charm... the two levels, the great patio on a quiet street.
