I can further add that the Rochefort beers cost 1.60 Euro at the abey de St-Remi where they are brewed (equivalent to 2.6CAD) when I was there. I can further add that a single bottle of Rochefort 10 costs about $7 (US) here in Buffalo. You're getting it for about half the price. I'm jealous! -rudy

I just talked to the beer manager. The 3L bottles of Oaked Bastard are going to be $86. Yikes! They don't have any in stock but he is expecting 4 tomorrow. He is also expecting 4 3L double bastards - but I don't see the point of that as it'll be significantly more expensive by volume than plain old ...

Yes everything will be closed, hospitals, police stations, transit, etc. Closed and empty. I assume your concert will be cancelled as well. :D I didn't mean completely dead. But I didn't know how it was observed up there. I was in Toronto around Easter and found it very nice that some places...

Will anything be open on Monday (10/11)

Howdy all,
I'm coming up from Buffalo to Toronto for a concert on Monday. I know that is Thanksgiving but will anything be open? Should I even bother trying Smokeless? Is the entire town going to be closed and empty?

Thanks for any responses and have a happy Thanksgiving! :)
