Probably the DFH 60, though I was drinking the Scotch Irish Sgt. Major around the same time, as well.

Wellington for me, too. Can't remember if it was tap or bottle but it was at Volo several years back.

I've been pretty lucky to have visited Austin, Fredericksburg, and now Houston all in the last six months! I'm about to head out to the Flying Saucer here in Houston for lunch. I have enjoyed all of the Texas beers I've tried. In the past two days, I've liked the Southern Star Pine Belt Pale Ale (So...

Thanks Greg, I'll pass that along. And to TheSevenDuffs, thanks very much for your generous offer, but I think my friend is looking for somewhere that has the current batch available.

Do you know exactly when it's scheduled to be released in the LCBO? That would be helpful.

Dieu du Ciel Solstice d'Hiver Barley Wine in Toronto?

Does anyone know a bar that would have this in stock right now? I have a friend writing a "winter beer guide" article and he needs to track one down.

Thanks!

Thanks, Greg. That's too bad but there seem to be a lot more events nowadays than there were even a few short years ago.

Whither the Victory Cafe Cask Events?

Forgive me if this has been hashed out in the past, but I'm returning to the forum after a long break. I remember the Victory used to do a spring and a fall cask event each year with great food, their own glasses, etc. Have those stopped?

p.s. I did do a search and couldn't find a quick answer.

Enjoyed myself even though I could only stay until 3pm. Disappointed that the Cheval Blanc casks appear not to have made it, nor the Granite Old Peculiar. Enjoyed most of the Quebec beers I tried, especially the Benelux Strato Black IPA. Does anyone know if Volo will be serving the leftovers tonight...

I've been away a LONG time from this board, and it's funny that I'm back because of Cask Days. I'll be at the afternoon session until around 3pm. Funny because when I logged in, my old private messages came up about me selling my Cask Day ticket from 2006! Glad I'll finally make it to one. And nice ...

I arrived at 1:30 and it was still possible to get in. The beers were fantastic, though I could only stay a little while and only tried three. The food was also excellent and the vibe was friendly. A great event and I'm looking forward to coming back for the summer version. The three I tried were th...

First of all, I've been away for a long while and am glad to have seen this posting in time. I am hoping to come down in the afternoon, but noticed that tickets are only being sold at the door.

Any worries about tickets selling out early? I probably won't be down until 2:00pm or so.

Just bought two sixes at the Yonge Eglinton Centre LCBO. They had about another eight sixes on display but no idea how much more (if any) in stock.
