Re: Nickel Brook Brewing

Weird, I don't get any results for a whole bunch of craft beers. Amsterdam, Beau's, even Mill Street, nothing comes up when I search for them on the LCBO's site.

Re: Muskoka Winter Beard vintages

Thanks for the clarification guys. I'll just enjoy these soon as opposed to trying to find more then. I started cellaring the original two by accident (as in, I just put them in the fridge and forgot about them). It'll be nice to get rid of these guys so I can have more room for my other bottles.

New BarVolo / House Ales location in Little Italy?

Just saw this on the BarVolo Facebook page. So, second location for BarVolo? Brewery for House Ales and or Bim Lafontaine? Or are they moving to Little Italy entirely?

Muskoka Winter Beard vintages

I'm curious about Muskoka's Winter Beard vintages. I've been putting one away for safe keeping each year and now I've got one from the past three releases: - Muskoka Winter Beard 2012 vintage (released in 2013) - Muskoka Winter Beard 2013 vintage (released in 2014) - Muskoka Winter Beard 2014 vintag...

Re: Latest LCBO releases

I've always been curious about how you get the data. Is it from that third party LCBO API that someone built?

Also do you ever run into issues by posting 20+ tweets at a time? I would have assumed there'd be some really restrictive rate limiting from Twitter.

Re: Amsterdam Brewery

Does anyone know what the deal with the regular version of Tempest is this year? I've heard numerous rumours that there won't be a regular version this year, but I haven't heard any reason why. Amsterdam dodged my question about it on Twitter.

Yeah it's supposed to make its way to the LCBO again eventually. I imagine it'll be in bottles though.

Re: Great Lakes

I'm in the same boat. The mini fridge I bought to store beers was full a long time ago and my actual fridge sometimes has more beer than food in it. I've resorted to storing some of my cellared bottles in an unused closet in my server room at work. Cool, dark, and lockable :D

Neither can I, but I'm going to stop by the brewery later anyway and ask (while picking up a bottle or two of the stout).

Edit: Looks like it's another Imperial Stout.

As is Monogamy - Columbus.

Stopped by today and was pleasantly surprised that both of those were in there. Didn't get a chance to try either when they were in the brewpub / bottle shop before so I grabbed one of each.

Re: Great Lakes

Apparently the GLB x Amsterdam Life Sentence IIIPA is coming back, too. Though looks like this time it'll have lots of Yakima hops in it (articles about the first batch from last year that I found only mentioned Amarillo, Nelson, Simcoe, and Citra). https://www.facebook.com/Amsterdambeer/photos/a.13...

Re: Bellwoods Brewery

I quite liked it too, very juicy with pine-y flavours. I'd stock up if you want more though, they said it was a one-off on their FB page.
