basically shouldn't be any problem or illegal if you have your card delivered to a post office box states side, or know someone that can receive it. Buy a receiver down there at wal mart (or in ontario, I'm sure someone slls them via buy and sells) Everything else payment wise, like any other bills ...

Get a post office box in Buffalo, and get Direct TV. You would be south enough to get perfect amazing quality, and a channel selection that far surpasses anything available in canada at a fraction the price.

They also still have yet to release the Sticke Alt yet, apparently aging on oak as well, according to retail girls. Wouldn't be suprised if some of that was held for that weekend as well, giving 6 german styles in total, not including what may be part of that Volo Cask Days stuff as well!!!

I understand all of that. But the average craft brewers market isn't Joe Sixpack either. and yes, the economies of scale are one factor, but I also think the sheer act of doing business in ontario has to be a huge factor in price points. Everything for getting taxed on every single grain of raw mate...

SteveB, The point that I'm simply trying to raise is that when a consumer walks into an LCBO and sees a can of Pilsner Urquell or Budvar in a larger format, for a cheaper price than an equivalent Canadian product its hard to say they should buy local for the sake of buying local. I believe that loc...

Oktoberfest

Like to make my plans well in advance personally. Has anyone heard anything regarding the Beau's Oktoberfest this year? I heard it was going to be over 2 days instead of just one? Not interested in all at the Molsoctober one in KW, but want to hopefully catch a bus out to Vankleek Hill...

But then, why does Montreal have pretty good brewing AND a cohesive sense of urban planning?. when was the last time you tried to cross montreal at just about any time of day? urban planning/infastructure is not a Quebec strong point. Sucker to drive there. Let us agree to say Toronto needs a car, ...
