I was underwhelmed by this. Something didn't fit, maybe just a style that doesn't fit to extra/dry hopping. Tasted forced or something.

I hope these new entrants to the market do well. Not only does it take guts to come up with a plan and try to execute in a very competitve market place.. but more local beer is a good thing. I'm sure some of the success of other local craft breweries has inspired others to consider brewing and I'd ...

I particularly didn't like this quote from HogsBack: We didn't want a mainstream flavourless beer, but we also didn't want to cater to the beer geeks who want fringe beers -- you know, dark ones that are really bitter. The Vrienden is tasty. It's a sneaker I find. Wasn't sure what to make of it at first, and then couldn't stop pouring it. Hopefully there is some left at the brewery. Still have a couple ceramics of the Screaming Beaver. Dangerously drinkable.

hmmm, now I'm not sure if I'm gonna head out there for beer this weekend, if the Beaver River is all gone. According to the website though, the Alt beer is maybe gonna be bottled for this weekend. I can't remember if I have had that before....it's probably good though.

none. i wanted a good IPA so i bought a case of DFH 60. That should do it. Now if there was an Ontario IPA of the same quality i'd be supporting that and wouldn't mind spending $60 on the case like i did for the DFH. great theory by the way  i found it comical too that this was the first resp...

Heading to Beaus after work this afternoon, as they apparently have bottles of both Beaver River IPeH and Screaming Beaver DIPA for sale.
Close to Homerism.
