Hi Spab,

The Saint Arnould brewery is alive and well.
www.saintarnould.com
I know the brewery changed owners 3 - 4 years ago.
Met the new owners a few years ago at Chambly and they are friendly people who are passionate about beer.
I would go there just to drink the local beer.

Cheers

Gedge, Another "must drink" beer and food destination is "Le Trou du Diable". They are located in Shawinegan 1-1/2 hr NE of Montreal or 1 hr NE of Hopfenstark. Very cool local and the food is to die for plus the beer is excellent. Maple 99, If your interest in DdC St jerome is to...

I Know this won't help you now but for future consideration, Gilbertson & Page in Fergus sell rice halls in 50 lb bags.

Jon, Right you are, point taken. I should have started another thread on my belief that the price of craft beer should rise! Aside from the added expense of washing another glass, restacking the glass back on the shelf and the necessity of having to have more quantity of glasses on hand in the first...

Hello fellow bartowellers, Many good points offered in this thread but I believe we are forgetting one main idea. Considering the cost of malt and hops now adays, $6.00 for a pint of good craft beer is IMO a steal anyways. Not sure what beer costs in Toronto, but people tell me that horse piss/mega ...

Hi Guys, I work at DdC Montreal so please accept my thoughts as being a touch biased :) Concerning DdC beers, novelty would never enter into the picture. The beers selected to bottle sell like crazy at the Montreal brewpub and we naturally hope the bottled versions will also! Route des Epices comes ...

I picked up my order at the main distribution LCBO in Ottawa on Dec 23. The store was very busy and they had my order all ready to go. Stupid me didn't check my order until I drove 50 km home. I ordered 2 cases each of doggie claws, adam & fred. I received 2 doggie claws, 1 fred & 3 adam. Ca...

They all go to Toronto first and then are transferred. Even if you did fill in the store on the original form, they would still ask you for that information when you pay. So, I don't think you lost any time. Ya, I filled in the "ship to" address when I ordered and they still asked me wher...
