Bumping this as I don't think we have heard a response from a lot of the Ottawa crowd.

Ralph, you seem to be in regular conversation with Mr. Fishh and Mr. Kelly. Did they have anything to say about the idea?

Woot, got 8 bottles off the only cast of Paniel in Ottawa. Guy said everyone in the city was looking for it. Its to bad this will never hit the shelves for random people to buy, but I think that we are sending the message. It is in a bunch of Ottawa stores today. There should be plenty to go around.

Picked up mine at an Ottawa LCBO on Wednesday.
How/when were you contacted about the order? I haven't heard anything. Sent an email to Roland & Russell last week, but no reply.
Got the call on Wednesday and picked it up the same day.

If you are still looking for a bottle when you come down to pick up your stuff, I have an extra in the cellar you can have.

Very excited to see the Panil. Great beer. LCBO seems willing to take a bit of a gamble on this one given the price. I guess if the customer base did not run screaming at the price of the Ola Dubh 40 they thought it might be worth trying again. Even at that price I will have to pick up another 4-5.

That said, I can't see much reason to do inter-Ontario trades. I guess there are some people from western Canada here though... Ottawa does not receive a lot of the beers the GTA guys rave about. A while back there was a thread with the top Ontario beers and I noticed six of them were not available...

How come that the Southern tier crème brulée - Marston's oyster stout - Lava smoked imperial stout - Meantime coffee porter are not available in the ottawa region? The past couple of releases have been slower than usual to make it to the Ottawa region. Also, some, like the Southern Tier Pumking, on...
