I tried to buy a single bottle of Elysian Imortal IPA at the Lcbo yesterday but wasn't able to because the LCBO cashier said that the brewery wouldn't allow it. This sounds like bull s*it. Perhaps the LCBO has been looking at this thread and instructing all their employees to use this excuse There w...

I will be buying a mini keg of St. Peter's Golden Ale. A friend and myself are going to drink it on Christmas Eve. Might buy a Fuller's Vintage Ale and drink that after the keg is gone. Would make a nice night cap, eithier that or Glenmorangie Single Malt scotch.

I think we also need to let any person or Business import beer into Ontario. If we leave it only with the LCBO they could block beer from over provinces or countries coming into Ontario. In a perfect world for the beer consumer specialty independant beer stores would sell both OCB and foreign craft ...

This is great news. I'd like to get eithier bottles or a keg of Founder's Centennial IPA. Now if we could just get Bells in New York state, Haven't had Two Hearted in a couple of years and I'm down to one bottle of Bells Expedition stout

Picked up 4 bottles of Jaipur at the Summerhill LCBO and tried one on Good Friday. Fantasticly bitter ! I loved it so much I bought a case when the LCBO reopened on Saturday. My case was number 30 of 602. Wish the LCB0 could have ordered 1,000 cases. The best before date is July 24, 2012 which means...

Just checked the LCBO website and Jaipur is listed but there is no botles anywhere just yet. Still a good sign :D Awesome! On a somewhat similar note, TBS, of all people, already have a listing for Spring Oddity! Edit: 4.55/bottle!!! Is the stuff that good??? I checked a UK beer delivery service an...

Thornbridge Brewery got back to me and said that they put 8 months on all of thier beers but obviously the fresher the better but are sure it will be in fine form when it's released. They do not put bottled on dates on thier beers. Thornbridge are hoping this release sells well and could send kegs i...

I was talking with the LCBO again today and they said Thornbridge Jaipur IPA was still in lab tests and label approval and may not be released for a couple of weeks. I asked how long it's been in Ontario and they responded a couple of weeks. I sent a e-mail to Thornbridge brewery to ask how long Jai...
