Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Well, I took a look today and the LCBO website has changed their database so the scraper is broken. Unfortunately due to family obligations I won't have time to fix it. It's been fun though!

you know what Budweiser needs? less flavor and more mouthfeel  I mean... It might be an improvement? I wonder if there is a widget in the can? I know there is a way to do it without a widget but I don't know the science behind it. I don't think the Nitro Brown Cow Milk Stout by Calabogie had a...

that sucks. my local LCBO had over 30 cases, they didn't even bother building a display or change the price tag (still read $9.90 a case)

Re: General LCBO Debate & Discussion Thread

The Buck-A-Beer Program is returning Fri Feb 14-16. if you're not interested in No Name Beer they usually put 6 packs of DAB, Henninger or Bavaria on sale for $9.90 (Good Filler beer). No Name Beer is sold online and in-store but you can kinda circumvent the sale past Monday if you order online and...

Re: The Premier has spoken. Few listened.

The Buck-A-Beer Program is returning... Such as it is. Link. Not feasible for brewers with the currently imposed tax structure. I guess the race to the bottom wasn't such a competitive idea after all. the date on that blog post is over 12 months old? Buck-A-Beer didn't start until Family Day 2019 :...

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

There's some nice beers on sale till Feb 2. I picked up some Fat Tug at 30¢ off (BB April 4). Also Marston's 61, Fuller's Porter, Czechvar Dark. Thanks, Marston's is one of the best values in Ontario at regular price (2.50), a crazy steal at 30 cents off. Kind of seems like they are getting discont...

or this? Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA LCBO is putting it through their trademarked cellaring program to ensure the vintage reaches peak flavour  Anyone know who are the importers of these two? Moosehead distributes for Sam Adams in CA, probably DFH too. we're through Fall, Holidays and halfway ...

Re: General LCBO Debate & Discussion Thread

That's cool, prices appear to be off though. there are a couple bugs on the site that i'm sure will get fixed eventually. caskhunter and LCBOWatch both have the same ABV sorting bug (anything over 9.9% gets sorted on the bottom or top). LCBOWatch doesn't even let you sort by price. another third pa...

Re: What're you drinking right now?

IPA No. 12. Quite nice, lots of citrusy tangerine along with melon, white grape and berry notes. Hazy and smooth, liked it a lot better than 11 which I found had a cloying and gross amount of lactose sweetness. That said, $4.95 for a non double IPA seems steep. As much as I liked 12 I'm finding a l...

Re: Coming Soon to the LCBO

give it a chance. it's a sour, but it's a "Collective Arts sour" which is to say it probably won't be very sour at all and Blueberries are infused with chocolate or roasted malt all the time so it doesn't bother me.
